Popular Golden Trowel Award, a symbol of honor for global concrete flooring construction companies, is annually presented by The Face Companies to the contractors in Asia for installing levelled and flattest concrete floors.
The 2018 Golden Trowels Awards for Asia, in association with Face and Informa Exhibition, has entered into China successfully. Golden Trowel award enables Asian contractors to gain worldwide recognition for their excellent performance in the industry. Till date, 130 contractors have won 340 Golden Trowel Awards.
It was only in 2018 the Chinese company joined the event and among 4 golden awards issued, 3 of them were won by 2 Chinese contractors. The Golden Trowel Asia Awards are segregated into 12 categories, each of which is subdivided into big projects larger than 9000M2 and small projects of range 900-9000M2.

Shanghai IRS Construction Co., Ltd’s, project of Taikoo warehouse in Shanghai, China won GTA Gold Awards in Narrow Strip Truss Screed project in the Random Traffic category.
Shanghai IRS Construction Co., Ltd’s, project of Lilly warehouse in Suzhou, China won GTA Gold Awards in Narrow Strip Truss Screed Defined Traffic category.
Jilin Province Deshi Construction Engineering Co., Ltd’s, the floor project of JD Asia No.1 Park in Tianjin, China won GTA Gold Awards in Large Copperhead Floor category.
Zacklim SRQ Concrete Floor SDN.SHD’s, project of Lam Soon Warehouse in Selangor, Malaysia, won GTA Silver Awards in the Narrow Strip Large Project category.
Channakorn Engineering Co., Ltd’s, project of MDC 19-20 Amphur Muang, Thailand won GTA Gold Awards in Copperhead Laser Screed 12 m wide bay Large Project category.
Followed by the success of previous GTA Gold Awards, application for the 2019 Golden Trowel Asia Awards is open to Asia’s flooring companies. The eligibility for flooring projects for 2019 Golden Trowel Asia Awards must be larger than 900 M2 (excluding Narrow Strip ≤ 6.6m wide) and completed by 1 September, 2019. Projects completed after 1 September will be eligible for 2020 award selection. The awarding ceremony will be held on 12 December at World of Concrete Asia show in Shanghai, China.
